What Does 588 Advanced Rider Training Provide?

Q. What can 588 Advanced Rider Training offer you?

A. Let's turn this comment around. What do you want?
You have a motorcycle licence, so 588 Advanced Rider Training are not here to teach you how to ride. The DVSA have already done that!
Most people coming to 588 Advanced Rider Training want to improve their machine handling skills, ride to a better standard, plan and not react to developing hazards and situations and enjoy their riding more. Some want to prepare for an advanced test with RoSPA or IAM RoadSmart (Enhanced Rider Scheme, BMF Blue Riband or any other rider initiative) or simply improve themselves as a motorcyclist. These are the things 588 Advanced Rider Training can do.
It is not track based. It is not about learning to use the public roads as a racetrack. If this is what you want, then there are many track days facilities or race schools available
Confidence, motivation, enjoyment, progress and the pleasure of riding is what 588 Advanced Rider Training can offer.
Q. When is the best time to commence advanced riding techniques?
A. As soon as you’ve passed your test! Seriously though, there isn’t a wrong time to start. If you have recently passed, then why not develop good riding techniques from the start. 588 Advanced Rider Training doesn’t train bad habits out of riders. Bad habits are things like smoking (I’m using smoking as an example, not criticising!).
588 Advanced Rider Training philosophy is to get rid of bad learning. Bad learning is when we do something routinely which we accept as being correct because we don’t have a negative consequence through doing it - Until we do!
